This was a very flexible course. Whilst being challenging, the tutor offers enough flexibility in choice of styles and subjects for you to meet the outcomes in a way that suits your ability and interests.
When I attended the course was taught in a purpose built building. It looks like a prefab hut with plenty of space for easels etc. Being an evening class, you do have the flourescent lighting, but there are also portable spot lights. There are plenty of drapes, easels, props etc.Student life
Tutor is excellent and the classes were always happy and relaxed and we interacted and shared tips well. Class size was approx 12 for the majority of the term (after a couple of early dropouts)>
The course was OK, but the personal development element was awful, this let it down.
We were studying in a hut! There was very poor IT resources.Student life
I became very unhappy due to the interacting with other students - they were not supportive. The course was made up of mostly men. The class size was about 20 people. there was not much socialising on the course.
I did this same course a couple of years ago and yes I agree it was taken in a 'hut'or out building this did not take away anything from the course I was there to learn not to admire the building as for IT support well its a counselling course where does it say with IT support and when I did mine the class was mostly women and I found my fellow students very supportive guess you were unlucky who you had on your course you never know they might have felt the same about you !
