In this course basic drawing skills through to watercolour are taught. Students practise drawing in a number of media including charcoal, pencils and pen and ink. Basic techniques are clearly demonstrated and the student may build on these by following clear demonstration before engaging with their own images. Still life is taught as it is a great way to study the three dimensional nature of objects. Later on students may progress to more ambitious subjects using the many tips and techniques they have learned. An introduction to watercolour is also taught and students are encouraged to combine media and develop their own distinct styles in a fun and supportive environment.
