Overview

Established in 1979, The City College is an independent institution for local and international students. The City College has undergone a review for educational oversight by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and is awaiting publication of its final report.

Over the years thousands of students have successfully completed their studies at the City College and have progressed to higher studies in British and American universities, or secured successful careers in a variety of fields. As well as maintaining high academic standards and providing quality tuition, the City College is noted for its prompt response to the education and training developments in the global environment.

Studying at the City College has evolved into a truly enlightening experience, and it is no surprise that our student body primarily consists of those who joined us on the recommendations from past or present students

What's on offer

The College's faculty is selected on the basis of their academic and professional qualifications, as well as on their experience in teaching/lecturing. The faculty involved in the delivery of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses are approved by the relevant universities.

The College reviews its course portfolio on a regular basis to ensure that it meets current trends and the requirements of its students.

Student Story

Serena Burns
Hospitality and Tourism

'I was born and bred in the East End of London and now live in Canary Wharf area of the City at my parents Pub! I have lived part of my life in the Algarve, Portugal, a major European tourist resort and naturally have always been interested in the Hospitality Industry. I chose to study at The City College because of the friendly environment and especially beause of the small classes that leads to the personal touch in teaching. The class has students from many different countries and this makes things very interesting listening to their experiences. The teachers are great, always helpful [as everyone is in the college] and with so much experience. As a local student I could have chosen many places to study in London - I'm glad that I chose The City College.'
