Student story

“I had been made redundant when I joined Inspire Learning on their Access to Higher Education - Health and Social Care course.

The hours were convenient with school pick-ups, and the venue was local. The course was fun, and the tutor was full of encouragement and support, and always on email if I needed help.

It gave me something to work towards and the people I met became like a second family to me.

I’m now studying towards a BA (Hons) Child and Youth studies, and I plan to do a 1 year degree next to get my teaching qualification so I can teach 14+.”

Fees & funding

We are a Community Benefit Society and not for profit. Because of this, our course fees are amongst some of the most competitive in our region with fees reinvested back into the development of future programmes.

We offer flexible payment options and help with fees through 19+ Advanced Learner Loans which are available with many of our further education and access to higher education courses – please ask us for details.

Our short courses are just £4 per hour or free for those on means tested benefits.

All family learning courses are free.
