Undergraduate Pathway in Communication, Marketing and Media:

This pathway is designed to allow international student to reach their full potential across a range of communication and media disciplines at Robert Gordon University. Robert Gordon University works closely with the business community to ensure that courses are delivered in the most effective way positive for the future career development of students, including work placements, real life industry projects and highly experienced lecturing staff.

Events Management

RGU offers a blend of core management and specialist event management modules, as well as the use of diverse assessment methods, allowing students to develop the skills valued by employers in this sector.

Fashion Management

Designed to integrate the management theories associated with the global fashion industry alongside the business contexts of fashion design, production, marketing and merchandising.


This course prepares students for a diverse range of careers in the media, by building an impressive portfolio of skills from media production such as documentary making to interactive media, web design, filming and the key transferable communication skills.

Digital Marketing

Students take part in challenging, real-world projects from design to delivery and evaluation, and analyse communication issues from a range of academic and practical perspectives.

International Hospitality or International Tourism Management

These degrees study the key economic role of hospitality and tourism in practically every country around the world. Students of these courses enjoy both the academic aspect as well as gaining first-hand industry experience.

Placement Opportunities

Usually taking place during the third year of studies, students of these degrees have the opportunity to gain real world experience with placement durations starting from 6 weeks to a full academic year.
