Course description

Train to be a fully-qualified Domestic Gas Engineer:

This course is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a fully qualified domestic gas installer, by providing you with a thorough grounding in domestic gas engineering. It covers a number of ACS qualifications and BPEC Gas Foundation Certificate.

The main objective of this training course is to give you the “hands-on” knowledge and practical skills for your chosen trade, regardless of your current level of ability. This is a uniquely structured blended learning program, delivered by a combination of theory and practical skills acquisition.

The practical training is designed to complement the course – not only bringing into context the theory you have learnt at home, but also giving you the knowledge, skills and experience you need to work competently and safely in your chosen trade.

Successful completion of a Domestic Gas Engineer course leads to industry recognised qualifications. The theory and practical training lead to ACS Certification.

ACS – Core Gas Safety
ACS – Domestic Central Heating and Central Heating Boilers
ACS – Water Heaters
ACS – Cookers and Hobs

From the initial course advisor taking me through the options to the tutors and passing my exams, I cannot fault Trades Courses. I also did the NVQ which was a huge help in getting a job as my employer wanted the hands on experience.
