Apprenticeships bring together relevant vocational experience in the workplace with programmes of study. They allow students to study for a qualification to enhance their career progression whilst in employment and earning a salary. Apprenticeships are suitable for existing employees regardless of age and are also suitable for college leavers. Your training will involve a qualification from the Chartered Management Institute, as a primary part of the apprenticeship, designed in partnership with employers to make sure it is relevant to what the skills industry is looking for. The cost of course fees is shared between government and employers, meaning no cost to you. Degree Apprenticeships are suitable for college leavers as an alternative route to gaining a degree and for existing employees looking to progress in their career.
Having successfully completed a Team Leader/ Supervisor Advanced you may wish to progress to a Higher Apprenticeship in Operational Management or a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship. The achievement of the advanced apprenticeship may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as higher level management or senior support roles.
The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer, but may typically be five GCSEs at Grade C or higher. Where a student has not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment.
This course has been specifically designed for companies training their employees.
