Step Up to Sport & Active Leisure: The Pearson BTEC Entry Level Award (Entry 3) in Sport and Active Leisure has been developed to give learners the opportunity to - Engage in learning which is relevant to you and will provide opportunities to develop a range of sporting skills and techniques personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life - Achieve a nationally recognised Entry vocationally related qualification - Progress to employment in sport and active leisure - Progress to related general and/or vocational qualifications. At West London College this learning programme has been developed to allow learners to study English and/or Maths to enable learners to improve in these subject areas. During your studies you will complete 2 sports related units these are - Taking Part in Sport - Taking Part in Exercise and Fitness Activities You will attend college for a minimum of 1 day per week and will also be studying English and Math if you do not have grades at C/4 or above. The college also offers a range of facilities such as - A Learning Resource Centre - English & Maths support - Student Union -Student Services
