Public Speaking Workshop - Developing Confidence [PEF2668G]: Overview
Our lives can be complicated, both at work and socially.
This course is designed for those who are looking to make a presentation (perhaps to work colleagues), a speech (perhaps at a wedding or other social event) or simply walk into a room full of strangers.
Remember, strangers are only friends we haven’t met yet.
Acting, Presenting and Public Speaking can help curtail inhibitions, improve confidence and allay many irrational fears and anxieties. By learning some of the simplest Acting, Presenting and Public Speaking techniques you can remove blocks, open new paths and discover the joys of interaction, participation and communication.
“Working hard is important. But there is something that matters even more: believing in yourself” J.K Rowling
What will we cover?
Using presentation techniques together with simple acting techniques we will set out to initially break down barriers, improve communication, allay irrational fears and improve general confidence. By using these techniques we will understand the basic principles of acting, presenting and public speaking and then put them into practice.
This course will give you positive life skills that will remain with you for life.
