Course description

Photography: Digital Imaging: Digital imagery is everywhere in our world, and on this course, meeting ONCE per week, we offer you a practical introduction to the creation and production of creative digital images.

Through a series of workshops you will gain a thorough knowledge of Photoshop, which will include photo-processing methods, and you will also get to explore the potential of compositing images, creating panoramas and simple animation. The main focus of the workshops will be to acquire skills but there will also be a series of lectures and assignments designed to introduce you to creative image development, including developing concepts, visual narratives and visual communication.

Course objectives are to be familiarised with the tools & techniques used in digital imaging, and to be introduced to the creative potential of software image production.
