This course is aimed at anyone who wishes to learn and grow their confidence in a fun and imaginative way. These techniques can help you in business, different workplaces, out socialising and also at home with the family. Confidence can seem like an elusive thing to many people but you can learn techniques to help it grow. In this class you will learn and practice different performance techniques to create new mind-sets and strategies that will banish old ways of thinking and interacting and make you feel good about yourself. We will create a friendly, safe space to practice new ways of being outside of your normal comfort zone.
You will: Learn techniques for identifying the root causes of your own low confidence and limiting beliefs; Learn a range of mindfulness and meditation techniques that can help in your day-to-day life; Participate in confidence building games to make you aware of how you 'project yourself'; Receive feedback in a supportive/nurturing manner from the rest of the group which will help you see yourself in a new light and grow;Identify the 'characters' you usually inhabit when interacting with others; Identify the person you wish to project out to the world and how to move to physically to create them; Learn the key ways you can 'perform assertiveness' which will lead to confidence.
On completion of this course, you will progress onto: Other relevant courses within College such as 'Presentation Skills' and other well-being and Professional and Personal Skills courses.
