London Hair & Beauty Training aims to help you become the best and provide flexible timetable’s enabling students to carry out training around busy day to day schedules. This qualification is unique as the only one which covers both women's and men's hairdressing, and is therefore most suitable for learners who wish to provide hairdressing services to males and females.
We offer fully funded courses for those who are unemployed and part funded courses for those who are employed.
Students learn the techniques of hairdressing from industry professionals with over 20 years of teaching experience. They will teach, support, prepare and give you the confidence to become industry ready.

We offer very small classes with no more than 10 students, which means that you will receive the one to one attention to help you fulfil your potential.
This is an intermediate vocational course that focuses on the development of a broad range of relevant hairdressing skills, supported by theoretical knowledge. The purpose of this qualification is to develop a high level of occupational ability and provide a sound platform to help you progress to direct industry placements or NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing.
You will cover all aspects of European ladies hairdressing, learning practical skills enhanced by theoretical knowledge. Classes consist of practical and theory based workshops, portfolio assignments, tutorials and assessment feedback on your programme.
Students are required to complete units such as:
The art of dressing hair
Client consultation for hair services
Follow health and safety practice in the salon
Cut women's hair
Cut men's hair
Cut facial hair
Styling men's hair
Students may have the opportunity to gain work experience within the Coco At Angel salon. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience interacting with clients in a professional manner, assisting fully qualified hairdressers and improving personal skills within the reception and admin aspects of the salon.
Students are required to purchase a hairdressing kit to complete practical assessments. Hairdressing kits can be purchased from the school.
Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 1 qualification in hairdressing/barbering and/or a successful skills test and interview.
