Course description

Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate Level Course - CPD:

The intermediate level of MS PowerPoint training gives students in-depth knowledge and insight when it comes to presentations. Students can learn at the dedicated centre or at their own home, or even mix it up and choose a combination of both. All training is provided online with a user-friendly system that tracks student progress and provides suggestions for performing assignments and tasks.

This training program has a total of seven modules with forty-six topics designed for ease of use. The program comes with a one-year license, allowing for ease of reference for months to come. Accreditation from the CPD is included in the admission fee, with the option of certification through Certiport Global at an additional cost.


Students gain an intermediate mastery of MS access as well as Proficient (Intermediate) certification accredited by the CPD.

Manage your text into professional form;

Course Length

While access to all course materials will be available for one year, students are advised to take their CPD accredited certification within three months. Further information on course length is available by telephone or email.

Typing Course (Booked online with Hotcourses)

I have booked the typing course with Souters. It has helped a lot, as I had no experience typing. Sadly I do not work on the computer every day, so the time I was given to complete to course and sit an exam was unachievable. Very kindly I got an extra time to practise with no extra charge. I hope I will be able to improve my skills to pass the exam in the future.

Overall Quite Helpful - However Some Elements Could be Improved

I found the course useful overall, however there are some elements that I feel could be improved. One of the course attendees failed to turn up but advised that they would arrive later- this resulted in a delay to our start date (due to start at 10.30am but actually started at 10.50am), I understand that this is down to an attendee and not the trainer, however I think we should have started regardless. There was a large amount of general information in the course, I think it would be useful to go into more depth in order to gain a better understanding, however this would mean starting the course earlier (and on time) or potentially spreading the course over two days. The entire course was read from a booklet- I find it useful to have hard copies of the content, however I feel that a PowerPoint presentation would be more beneficial and engaging.
