Maths GCE A Level Level 3: For anyone who’d like to go onto university and study in a variety of subject areas – from medicine and computing to engineering and design – a good, solid knowledge of maths is essential to success, and is relevant to an incredible number of systems, processes and roles in the working world.
This A-Level in Mathematics will develop those skills that will help you to succeed both at university and in your future career, with an emphasis on logical thought and problem solving. In the core module, you’ll build upon knowledge learnt at GCSE in areas such as arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry and geometry, along with the introduction of new topics like calculus.
You’ll also take a closer look at statistics, which are a vital part of almost every profession. You’ll collect data and explore different ways to present, analyse and understand what it means, particularly in the context of a business.
