Course description

Law A Level:

If you’re interested in a career in law, or simply want to find out more about the hugely complex and compelling world of the legal system, our home study A level in the subject should be a perfect foundation on which to build your knowledge. The study of law will enable you to develop your analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving skills through the application of legal rules. The course covers the nature of English law and the English legal system, private law, public law and legal skills.

Unit 1: Law making
Unit 2: The English legal system

Unit 3: Criminal law
Unit 4: Tort 1
Unit 5: Crime offences against the person
Unit 6: Crime property offences, attempt and defences
Unit 7: Fault and justice
Unit 8: Tort 2
