Introducing Caring for Children and Young People Certificate Level 2: If you want to work with children and young people but you’re not sure what kind of role would be best suited to you in the childcare or health and social care sectors, this CACHE Level 2 Certificate is a great place to begin.
You’ll get a good, wide understanding of childcare and education, focusing on building up your knowledge and awareness of the sector, and gaining first-hand experience with a placement for one day a week. Along with exploring the importance of play for early learning and gaining an understanding of how young children develop, you’ll also get the chance to look at a variety of craft activities with little ones.
Although you won’t get a licence to practice with this course, you will still develop a good knowledge of roles in this industry, and the requirements of each. The course will help you build skills for the future, and give you strong foundations in safeguarding the welfare of young people and how to prevent accidents when babysitting. By the end of the certificate, you’ll be able to make an informed choice about your future career.
