This qualification has been designed to help you understand the skills and knowledge needed to work in the sport and active leisure sector. The programme will provide the most up to date, comprehensive and high quality training for 16-18 year olds wishing to break into the sport and leisure industry. Study and qualifications gained can also lead to opportunities in the following fields Professional sports person, Coaching, Sports Therapy, Fitness Industry, Leisure Management, Teaching, Higher Education, Overseas and scholarships
This course can be run alongside our Education and Football Development Centre delivered by Tottenham Hotspur football club. This provides you with a programme of football training while you work on a full-time course of academic study. You will also participate in games in the British Colleges Sport League, ECFA London.
Students will be assessed through practical performance and a portfolio of work that you'll build up over the course. Students who successfully complete can progress to the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in sport
Students need to have Three GCSEs in relevant subjects or other related qualifications and experience.

More info: This course is free for students aged 16-19. Students should be aged between 16-19 at the time of the programme begins, Students need to pay materials and trip cost extra. Students who are aged 19 or over are required to pay the full fee, however, they may be entitled to a fee reduction or a loan depending on their circumstances.
