This course is for more experienced photographers who want to delve deeper into the camera's functions and hone their skills to be more creative in their photography. This intensive course will introduce you to exciting projects and you will soon see your pictures and skills improving. This course will give you creative control over your camera thereby encouraging you to take photographs with intention, rather than letting the camera do all the work. A thorough grounding in exposure and working in various light conditions will increase confidence. The project work will be given in class and for you to do at home and will be shared with the class to encourage constructive feedback.
By the end of the course you will be able to
Ideally students will own a camera that gives access to manual controls. A keen interest in the subject is key to your success and the ability to attend the sessions regularly in order to get the most out of the course is desirable. As part of the course you will be asked to read tutorials, take notes, listen to instructions and discuss related topics, therefore students should have a reasonable level of skill in speaking, reading and writing in English. This course can be taken alongside with any of our digital design, film and photography courses and will help you to gain the confidence you need when working with cameras and film making equipment. The best thing to bring with you is energy, enthusiasm and commitment.

This course lasts a year and covers everything from flash photography - studio lights and flashlights to outdoor and environmental portraits. For projects you choose your subject. Paul Kemp, who takes the course, is massively supportive and works really hard to make sure everyone gets a lot out of it; and because prospective students are interviewed, the students are approximately the same level. We were lucky to be only six in the class, which did give Paul and us a bit more flexibility. I can't recommend it strongly enough - and if you have a full on job and can't always do much work between classes, Paul understands that but it would be a pity to do the course and not put much into it

The course opened a new opportunity for my employment
The coding for beginners was an excellent course. It made me understand the concepts about coding and how it works. I have enjoyed so much Dalia's lessons (tutor).I've liked the resources that she uses and the structure of the course. Also, she has a fantastic approach respecting the different needs of each student. Furthermore, Dalia made me feel confident that coding is something that I can learn! It has empowered me to go further and even considering about become a web developer.
