Designing image-based booklets with Adobe InDesign CC – an introduction:

In this course you will learn to design and create page layouts for image-based booklets. Add digital photographs and illustrations to your pages, and discover how to creatively illustrate using Adobe InDesign CC and how to output to PDF for printing at home, or to upload to an online book printer. You will learn how to navigate the InDesign workspace to set up dimensions, layout and pages for image based ‘print quality’ booklet creation (up to 100 pages)

Learn how to import, resize and crop images (.jpg, .tif, .bmp formats) and discover ways to creatively illustrate pages using text effects from the InDesign font library. Discover how to use layers to combine visual elements, create master pages and group spreads into signatures to export your final design to PDF format. Finally, you will understand how to print your PDF pages at home on an inkjet printer or upload your booklet design to an online book printer. (e.g. ).

Additional entry requirements

This course is for those with little or no experience who want to go back to basics and would like a structured introduction to a subject.
