Cisco's CCNA certification is one of the most recognised certifications in the industry.
As businesses and technology evolve, the role and skills required of a core network engineer are more complex and vital than ever. The CCNA Routing and Switching certification will not only prepare you with the knowledge of foundational technologies, but ensure you stay relevant with skill sets needed for the adoption of next generation technologies.
You’ll learn how all you need to know in order to be able to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot small and medium-sized networks.
The CCNA Routing and Switching curriculum covers the latest technology innovations on Cisco's routers and switches with, Ipv6, IOS licensing, device security and comprehensive troubleshooting scenarios being a few of the topics covered.
Successful completion of the four CCNA modules prepares you to take the Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification. The CCNA R&S is internationally recognised as the most effective entry qualification for a career in computer networking, telecommunications and network security.
You will be continually assessed and will need to take an online exam at the end of each course.
No previous experience is required to start any CCNA courses. You will need a solid working knowledge of some aspects of computing or networking in order to complete the course in full. If you have no background in computing or IT you may need to consider alternative introductory courses prior to applying. NB: You will need to complete all four courses (CCNA Parts 1-4) to become a full CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
