The Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration is a work-based qualification aimed at those beginning to take on a higher level of responsibility for the administration in their organisation. It is designed to meet employer needs and priorities; working together to achieve this is a key focus of discussion prior to an apprentice starting. Projects used for assessment are work-focused providing immediate benefit for employers. Skills and knowledge included in this qualification are designed to equip students to undertake business administration roles win a range of settings and to progress to roles with additional responsibilities.
Having successfully completed Business Administration Advanced Apprenticeship you may wish to progress to a Higher Apprenticeship in Operational Management or a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship. The achievement of the advanced apprenticeship may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.
You will need to be employed in a business administrator type role. The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer, but may typically be five at Grade C or higher. Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment.
