We will look at the similarities and differences in the works of these two Heavyweights form the Renaissance.
What will we cover?
From Leonardo’s unfinished and finished masterpieces, his curiosity into the world of phenomena and the importance of the eye at this time as the primary sense, enabling him to see into the heart of things to Michelangelo’s mastery of sculpture, in his magnificent iconic David, Moses and the Slaves to his struggles with the Sistine Chapel ceiling.
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This is open to anybody who has an interest in art, architecture and sculpture, whether modern or ancient. Absolutely no prior knowledge is necessary just an intrigue to learn and discover.

What can I do when I finish the course?
Learners may want to follow up their interests with more in depth courses, visit galleries and museums and follow up with recommended reading. They may also be inspired to take up crea-tive arts themselves and join arts groups and societies where you can see and hear speakers.
