Course description

Apprenticeships in Plastering level 2:

As a plasterer students will be performing different plastering techniques on site such as dry lining, skimming and external rendering, and working in a construction environment. This course will include: level 2 knowledge based qualification, level 2 competence based qualification, level 1 English, level 1 Maths and Employee Rights and Responsibilities. Students will be assessed at college and in the workplace. They may need to take exams.

Additional entry requirements

You must have an employer to support them through their Apprenticeship and give them time off to attend college. Many people find their own job or are already employed. You will have an assessment indicating that you are working at Level 1 and you are able to achieve Level 1 English and Maths within one year. You need to be happy working outdoors, carrying out manual work. You should demonstrate an interest or knowledge of working in the vocational area and wish to take up a career in a relevant industry.
