On this apprenticeship you will develop skills in areas such as first and second fix joinery and roof structures using specialist machinery, building methods and technical drawing. You will also learn to uphold safe working practices. With further training it is possible to specialise in areas such as film set production, shop fitting and concrete mould forming.
This 18 month apprenticeship is designed for those who wish to work in the construction industry, and is perfect for anyone who wants to become a skilled craftsperson with qualities that can be transferred across many sectors.
You must achieve a minimum of 62 credits to achieve this qualification. Some of these units are mandatory and some you may choose with the agreement of your employer and assessor.
