Course description

AAT Level 2 Award in Accounting Software:

The purpose of the AAT Foundation Award in Accounting Software is to ensure that students have the data processing and accounting software skills necessary for most finance roles. Once completed the course, students will be able to perform the most common accounting operations, for example set up general ledger accounts, process typical bookkeeping entries, carry out bank reconciliations and produce reports.

By the end of the course you will be able to

Set up general ledger accounts
Process typical bookkeeping entries
Carry out bank reconciliations
Produce reports

Additional entry requirements

You need to be aged 19 or above. There are no formal entry requirements, but in order to benefit the most from the course it is advisable to have a working knowledge of English and maths, and some familiarity with the use of computers.

I heard about Morley College from another student back in autumn 2015 and decided to check it out. I was completely in awe about all the courses on offer and have been a regular student since January 2016. I started with Beginners Pattern Cutting, increased to Intermediate Sewing and am currently enrolled in 5 courses including Professional Sewing Techniques, Couture Garment Construction, How To Make Your Own Block and Occasion Wear. The tutors are phenomenal and have such a broad knowledge. Teaching is both in groups but also individually depending on the project. I absolutely love coming to my classes and could be at Morley College every day!

Wood carving and Wood sculpture

I've just finished the Thursday evening wood-carving classes at Morley College, and I've enjoyed it so much. It was my first wood-carving course, and I'm only doing it for fun, and I've already learned so much. The teacher, Tim Norris, is so friendly, helpful, and great at explaining the technique that I've already signed up for next term's course!
