This course is an introduction to accounting methods and principles, giving you the skills, knowledge and understanding to progress to a career in accounting. You'll get to develop your skills in financial administration, double entry-bookkeeping, basic costing principles and purchases, sales and general ledgers. You'll be assessed throughout the year through computer-based assessments and projects. On completion, you can progress to the AAT Level 3 Diploma to boost your career potential.
Students should be 19 or over at the start of this course with: Maths and English GCSE grade A*-C; OR Functional Skills Level 2; OR Other relevant qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be discussed during their interview.
