Cancer Research student and former Westminster Kingsway College student
“When I arrived in the UK I didn’t know a word of English and worked from entry level ESOL to BTEC Level 3 Science at Westminster Kingsway College. After College I studied BSc Human Biology at London Southbank University. I am currently studying MSc Cancer Therapy at Barts of The London School of Medicine and Dentistry and hope to continue into a PhD in Pancreatic Cancer research.
“Working in the Westminster Kingsway College science laboratories inspired me. The teachers taught at a very high level and they really got us ready for university from our work ethic to the way we studied and collated information. I can’t stress that enough. Even now I am still in touch and they are very supportive and I am grateful.”
