Our success rates are above the national average and we have excellent achievement rates. Many of our lecturers are trained A Level and GCSE examiners, who give expert advice on how to achieve the highest grades.
Apprenticeships – earn while you learn
Apprenticeships are perfect if you want to earn money, study a national qualification and gain job specific skills to progress in your chosen career. They are available to those who are available to work in a paid job for at least 30 hours a week. Get the best of both worlds and earn as you learn!
Raising Participation Age (RPA)
Young people in England must stay in education or training until the end of the academic year in which they turn 18.
If you’re looking for a different option to stay in education or training, an apprenticeship could be an answer for you.
We help with finding apprenticeships through our vacancies service or provide assistance for those already working to help them convert their job into an apprenticeship. Uxbridge College is the largest College provider of apprenticeships in west London, with the highest college success rates offering Level 2 - 4 apprenticeships in over 20 different industries.
91% of our apprentices secure employment at the end of their apprenticeship. The College has great links with a range of companies across many industries including Acer, British Airways, Barclays, Balfour Beatty, Royal Opera House & QPR
Part-Time Courses – improve your skills
Our Part-Time courses enable you to improve your existing knowledge, skills and qualifications or gain new skills for work. They are offered part-time during the day, evenings and sometimes on Saturdays and are designed to fit around your work or personal commitments. Our Information, Advice & Guidance Team offer advice on our range of courses and support and guidance on developing skills and enhancing career opportunities.
Higher Education - taking your studies higher
After completing a Level 3 qualification why not go further with a Higher Education qualification at Uxbridge College. HNC/HNDs are a great way to build on knowledge and skills helping develop futures, providing 2 years of study which can be topped up for a degree. Our high quality courses have fees that are lower than some universities so take advantage of a cost effective way to study without compromising on quality. The Exchange - Uxbridge Campus - this is the place to socialise, catch up with your friends, have breakfast or lunch, grab a quick snack, relax before your next lesson and find out the latest College info on the bank of TV screens.
The Mall - Uxbridge Campus - relax in the seating areas, play a board game, cards or chess, use the ames consoles, watch TV, use the iCyber computer stations and refresh yourself with a Starbucks.
The Refectory - Hayes Campus - the new refectory provides loads of seating for eating, socialising and relaxing. When the weather's good you can also use The Quad - an outdoor space with table tennis and seating.
The Student Lounge - Hayes Campus - situated within the Refectory, this is the place to unwind between lessons, play pool, use the games consoles plus access the Student Support team.
More Energy gyms (available on both campuses) - the gyms have free weights plus the latest cardio and resistance equipment. There are great membership rates for students, so you can get fit and keep active.

The Learning Resources Centres (LRCs) - based on both campuses our LRCs offer full library services including books, e-books and access to a large range of online resources, DVDs, newspapers, journals, trade magazines and audio-visual information. You can also borrow from Hillingdon borough libraries - giving you access to over half a million resources!
To help you succeed in your studies there are silent and group study areas as well as excellent IT suites with up-todate computing facilities. Well-qualified and dedicated staff are always available to help you to improve your study skills.
E-Learning - eLearning offers first-class facilities on both campuses. There are over 200 open access PCs for use around the College, staffed by a team of eLearning Assistants. They will help you to gain confidence in using information technology to enhance your learning. There are also over 120 additional workspaces for individual and group study, bookable iPads and Chromebooks to help with your studies, plus dedicated quiet study areas on both campuses. All students have access to online productivity tools and unlimited online cloud storage provided by Google.
This purpose-built site, centrally located just ten minutes from the town centre, provides everything our students and business clients could want or need.
The campus is a short walk from the main bus station and Uxbridge Tube station, which is on the Piccadilly and Metropolitan Underground lines. The campus is just two minutes from the bustling Uxbridge town centre which boasts dozens of stores, a cinema, a host of places to eat, drink and socialise.
Uxbridge College, Hillingdon Council and local health services and voluntary organisations came together to develop a centre for the Hayes community.
The College is next to a health centre, housing, parkland and a day centre for elderly people, ensuring this campus really is at the heart of the community.
