'Affordable photography courses in the classroom, on location and online...'
The Royal Photographic Society is a registered charity and a membership organisation dating back to 1853. It aims to promote photography and support the public and members in improving their skills. One of the key ways it does this is through courses and workshops which are open to everyone. Details of its exhibitions, distinctions programme and other activities can be found on its website.
Most of The RPS workshops are held at its headquarters in Bath, with specialised courses, for example, garden and archiectural photography being undertaken at appropriate locations around the United Kingdom. In addition it runs an online course on Digital Photography with the Open University.
The Society runs its courses on a breakeven basis so they remain affordable. Members receive a further reduction on the standard cost.
A full list of courses and bookings are taken on the Society's website.
