SFX is a 6th form college based in Balham, South London.  We have invested over £10 million of recent investment, including a new canteen and Starbucks which opened in September 2014.  Over 90% of university applications go to university each year with 27% to the Russell Group and top 40 Universities.


16-19 courses (full time)
At SFX, we offer a very large choice of A level subjects as well as Level 3 BTEC /UAL Diplomas and Extended Diplomas, Level 2: BTEC Diplomas and a Level 1 BTEC Diploma which is also known as Foundation Learning.


A levels

  • 1 in 4 grades at A* to B
  • 100% pass rate in 19 courses (17 in 2014)
  • All Italian students achieved either a grade A or B

Level 3 Extended Diploma/Level 3 Diploma

  • Four BTEC Courses achieved 100% pass rate
  • 51% of Business Level 3 Extended Diploma students gained D*D*D* (equivalent to A*A*A*)
  • 44 students across all BTEC/UAL courses gained D*D*D*
