Student story

For former Creative Media student Nicola (centre) Shipley College was the perfect fit for her journey to university...

When sixth form wasn’t for Nicola she decided to explore her options. Shipley College proved to be the solution.

She says “ I was treated like an adult, which I loved. There were many opportunities - writing for the college newspaper, doing a presentation in front of over 100 people and a work placement in the Marketing Dept. These experiences improved my confidence and added vital experience to my CV.

I would recommend Shipley College to anyone. I am now studying Journalism at Leeds Beckett University and am loving it.”
