Student life

At Loughborough College we want to ensure that your experience with us is both valuable and exciting inside and outside of the classroom and therefore, we have committed to continually exploring new ways of developing our practice.

In addition to our excellent learning environments including our industry standard workshops, students at Loughborough have plenty of opportunities to get involved in extra-curricular projects and societies. As an automatic member of the Loughborough Student Union, you can choose to take part in various volunteering and social schemes.

Onsite at Loughborough College we house a fully-equipped gym and dance studios, functional beauty salons at discount prices, two café's and two restaurants, a Library and Learning Resources Centre, the Radmoor Day Nursery and much more. Advice is also available via our Student Support team and International Services office.

Facilities

We have fantastic facilities

In order to provide a great experience for our students we are continuing to invest in our College facilities and over the past few years have opened new buildings and renovated and refurbished our existing facilities. Our students gain real work experience in our College restaurant, Fitness Studios, Hair, Beauty & Complementary Therapy Salons which are located in the Radmoor Centre.

If you live too far away to travel the college has fantastic halls of residence and other living options.

Our accommodation has everything you'll need to feel happy and settled whilst studying with us.

We understand that moving into student halls is a big step, particularity for our international students. That's why we have a dedicated Accommodation Team to help you settle in and support you throughout your stay.

Location

Loughborough is one of the most centrally placed towns in England and benefits from excellent transport links.

Access to the College is easy with the M1 motorway less than three miles away and frequent first class train and bus services are in operation. With regular rail links to and from London, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby, Loughborough College is accessible to students and staff from all over the country. There are also various bus services both locally and as part of a national network which provides an alternative way to travel for those in the surrounding areas.

Open days

It's great to read about a college and what it has to offer but there's really no substitute for experiencing it at an Open Day.

At Loughborough College's Open Days, we exhibit all of our Apprenticeships, professional qualifications, and degree-level courses, as well as our A Levels, Access, and vocational courses such as BTECs.
