Our shoemaking course offers a unique opportunity to learn all aspects of footwear pattern-cutting and making.

Capel is the only college in the country to run a full-time traditional English saddlery course.

Improve your drawing skills and learn more about plants on our botanical illustration courses, available at our Enfield and Regent’s Park centres.

Centres across London

We have five centres across London…

Our Enfield centre has 60 individually designed gardens across 34 acres which are open to the public providing unparalleled inspiration for students. We have dedicated teaching facilities and farmland in parks across London including Crystal Palace Park, Gunnersbury Park and Regent’s Park, we also have a centre in the heart of the floristry industry at New Covent Garden Market.

The College also runs two farms in London offering invaluable opportunities for students and benefitting the local community: Crystal Palace Farm and the organic Forty Hall Farm in Enfield.

We open our doors each month to allow prospective students the opportunity to find out more about our College centres and courses.

Come along to one of our Advice Evenings where our friendly Admissions Team and Course Tutors are available for course advice, guidance and support. At our Open Days you will also have the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging have-a-go activities to get a taste for our courses.

How much will it cost?

If you are aged 16 to 18 the cost of your tuition is free. If you are over 18, then fees may be payable, but fee waivers and bursaries are available to help and loans if you are aged 24 and over.
