One things for sure, LCCA is everything you imagine an art college would be. From the black and white portraits in the reception, to the famous quotes printed on the walls, the college looks beautiful. Armed with a camera and a tripod, I set off to find out just what it means to be one of the effortlessly cool looking students who call LCCA home. A world of final pieces, colour palettes and fashion, it doesn’t take you long to notice everyone here lives and breathes the subjects they study and teach.
Wandering round the college can only be described as being in an art exhibition, with students’ work decorating the walls. It’s clear to see, these are the aspiring artists that lie at the heart of everything the college does, as tutors run between two central London campuses, helping their class prepare for forthcoming examinations. Earphones in and heads down, every classroom I entered had a buzz of passion and creativity.
With a fashion studio as big as the Hotcourses office and a library stocked with every issue of Vogue you could ever need, if you’re interested in fashion, this is the place to be. The college strives to give their students the relevant skills and experience they need to succeed in an ever growing, highly competitive industry, and with the help of their amazing student support team, they seem to be doing just that. It’s a difficult job to summarise my experience at LCCA in one short video, but for those passionate about the arts, this is a college of likeminded peers and tutors who are dedicated to making your dreams come true.
