Course Description
This course trains participants to manage pressure related injuries (diving accidents) and also trains them to handle O2 units efficiently, they will be taught how to help more than one injured Diver and provide Emergency O2 First Aid while activating the Emergency Services. The course will increase their confidence as a diver and their care for other people and themselves. Participants will learn the general skills to use in the unlikely event of an emergency, outlined in five modules as follows; anatomy and physiology, signs and symptoms of emergencies requiring oxygen, benefits of O2 in diving emergencies, dive accident statistics and emergency O2 delivery equipment.
Entry Requirements
Participants must be minimum 12 years old and must also have Emergency First Response training.
