
After having been raised in the catering sector from a tender age – my Dad was running a creperie in Paris, my Mum had several restaurants serving Bistro food – I decided to explore the vast world of culinary delights. I left Paris for London in the bloom of youth, aged only 19. My natural curiosity and appetite for new tastes and adventure brought me to different destination throughout Northern, Southern and Eastern Europe. I decided to try my luck and opened my first business, Pianeta Terra, in the heart of Amsterdam , a restaurant that remains successful to this day.
Everyday diet is crucial in helping us to vital and healthy and I believe that food should feed the soul as well as satiating the palette. Cooking is not just a way to feed oneself but a means to reach out to others- friends, loved ones and strangers alike- as well as a path to ones own well-being.
For these same reasons my menus are always seasonal. I aim to use the best in locally sourced produce, as well as preparing food with care to keep the maximum nutritional benefit.
