This course has been designed for those individuals who are currently working in youth and community work. It covers modules that include: young peoples welfare, equality and diversity in youth and community work, values and curriculum in youth and community work, the origins and development of youth and community work, adolescent development and socialisation. This programme has been designed for those individuals who are currently working in youth and community work, in either a voluntary or paid capacity. Students will build upon and extend their theoretical understanding of relevant issues in Youth and Community Work. You will be required to undertake a variety of written work assessments, including essays, reports, research projects, case studies and examinations.
Prospective students will complete an application form in their own handwriting and then be selected for interview.
