This programme is aimed at learners 19+ who are interested in exploring youth work and building on the essential skills and knowledge that will be required to follow a career, or to volunteer in this area. Successful completion of the programme could lead to commencement onto a NOCN Level 2 Diploma in Progression or the National (VRQ) Qualification Level 3 in youth work with NOCN.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate an ability to achieve 2 GCSEs at Grade D or above. NOCN/ABC Preparation for working with young people level one is an acceptable alternative.
