The course is designed for students who hope to become writers, or who wish to develop their writing in the field of performance; emphasis is on scriptwriting for theatre, film, television and/or radio and there is opportunity to work in other culturally significant genres, including prose fiction; students are encouraged to reflect and analyse as well as create new work; the course encourages interaction and dialogue with students on our other Master's programmes, allowing the potential to work with choreographers, performers and cultural entrepreneurs.
Modules include: writing for stage and screen; individually focused imaginative writing; creative process; and the opportunity to study creative work in an industry context.
