Research interests could include: ancient and medieval european art; early modern european art; modern european art; african arts; arts of the americas; arts of oceania (such as that found in New Guinea or Hawaii); asian art; as well as world art.

Entry Requirements
Candidates are normally expected to have an honours degree. Those for whom English is not a first language, should preferably have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0-6.5 or TOEFL score 550 (paper-based)/ 213 (CBT)/ 80 (IBT). Some Departments require a score of 4.0 in a Test of Written English (TWE). Applicants should check these requirements with the individual departments, where applicable.
