This course is designed to provide people working in the community with an opportunity to gain a qualification in community learning and development; students have the opportunity to undertake a placement in youth work; adult education or community work in either the statutory or the voluntary sector; principles and practice of community learning and development; managing resources; working with community groups; sociology; learning approaches; adult education; working with young people; capacity building.
