About this course

This course is for those who are currently employed working with children and/or young people. You will develop expertise in all areas relating to your work. You will learn how to build effective relationships with children and young people in addition to gaining an understanding of other professions and organisations whose purpose is to support and guide.

Additional entry requirements

One of the following: Two A Levels, or equivalent, or relevant work experienceBTEC National Diploma/CACHE Diploma in Child Care, Health or Social CareNVQ Level 3 in Child Care, Health or Social Care, Learning Mentor or Classroom AssistantA recognised Access to Higher Education Certificate in a related subject. In addition: GCSE Grade C in English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. Applicants who do not meet these entry criteria will be considered based on equivalent qualifications, previous experience, a College assessment and applicant interview.
