Course Description
This course is designed to offer basic early years training in working in a crèche. It is a partnership with the Dorothy Gardner Centre, where the course is held. The course focuses on working with babies and toddlers, and children up to five years of age in a crèche setting. You will cover play activities, settling children in, working with parents and equal opportunities. No placement is required but learners must have a working knowledge of spoken and written English. Advice, interview and assessment required.
Assessment method
Students will be assessed through portfolio work
Equipment and Materials
Students will need to bring plastic pockets, files, writing paper and materials
