This course is for anyone in the entertainment industry that could have to work at height or for where a fall could potentially occur. Includes the elements of a Safe System of Work, including, use of tools, risk assessment ,equipment selection and inspection, method statements and emergency procedures. This course is delivery via a blend of practical experience and classroom taught sessions. On this course evacuation and rescue are practised at height and delegates will be expected to work almost entirely from within the confines of protected areas but are able to move to exposed areas if necessary to carry out straightforward work tasks. Includes all of syllabus TFP0 - Introduction to personal fall protection (WAHSA ), plus a range of practical tasks and theoretical sessions, including: Selection, care and maintenance of equipment. Climbing techniques, including basic progression along a truss. Restraint and work positioning Legal requirements for working at height. Use of ropes and knots Emergency procedures Rescue after a fall and the use of fall arrest equipment Competent rescue of casualty from structure
