About this course

In this course students will learn how to get along with many different people in different situations, particularly when under pressure and working to deadlines. They will learn about carry out safe working practices, information, quantities and communicating with others, building methods and construction technology, carry out first fixing operations, carry out second fixing operations and erect structural carcassing.

Additional entry requirements

Students must have any one of the following: four GCSEs at grades D-F (including English and maths), BTEC foundation diploma in a related subject, NVQ level 1 or technical certificate in a related subject, successful completion of the Gateway or Newstart course, successful completion of the E2E or Prince's Trust course or equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.
