Mature student, Joanne spent a few years in the workforce before making the decision to return to education. Having worked in a business role she enrolled on to the one-year Higher National Diploma in Business that is designed for students who have achieved a Level 3 qualification or are over the age of 21 with relevant work experience, who wish to broaden their understanding of business related subjects. Successfully completing the course Joanne progressed on to the one-year top-up degree in Business Administration at the College. She achieved a First Class Honours Degree commenting that this was the ideal route for her to achieve a degree and that the support offered by her tutors was fantastic. Joanne was also rewarded with a prize at the annual College Awards ceremony as Student of the Year for Business. Since graduating Joanne has found employment as a management trainee.
