Related knowledge of safety procedures, The TIG welding process, Selecting correct shielding gas for work to be undertaken, Selecting and grinding the correct tungsten electrode, Selecting correct filler wire, Setting welding unit to obtain optimum operating parameters, TIG welding techniques and tutored welding practice for the required weld types, Assessment test in accordance with the BS4872 welder competency standard if required.
