Niel and Sue Bally run a selection of painting and drawing courses from their delightful home in the foot hills of the Black Mountains near Hay-on-Wye in Wales. The studio is purpose built, very spacious and fully equipped. Niel offers expert tuition and this is complemented by the hospitality and comforts of the house, garden, dining and sitting rooms, where delicious home cooked lunches and refreshments are prepared by Sue.
The location makes an ideal destination for a weekend winter break or a short holiday during the summer months when landscape painting courses are run. There are plenty of activities in the area for non painters and a good variety of accommodation close by. The most convenient being a 5 star B&B next door.
