This programme is for engineers who wish to specialise in water and waste water engineering from an international perspective; the programme aims to develop participants' potential and their understanding of important aspects of sustainable public health infrastructure and services for all levels of consumers; to equip them with appropriate expertise and skills for work in low and middle-income countries, and to provide opportunities for specialisation in 1 topic through in-depth study during the individual research project module.
Core modules: water and waste engineering principles; management of water and sanitation; water utilities management; research skills; group project; individual research project; optional modules: integrated water resources management; water distribution and drainage systems; water source development; waste water treatment; solid waste management.
