Learning Packages (LP) form the basis for study and there are between 3 and 7 LPs per unit; each LP has a set of comprehensive self-contained study sessions, containing the fundamentals of theory and application with respect to principles and concepts, processes and practice required for understanding of wastes management collection, storage and disposal methodologies and of environmental monitoring and management strategies; where appropriate the LPs also include a variety of magazine articles and other reference materials as well as further reading lists.
Include: Applying environmental science to the management of wastes; investigating, analysing and reporting on a wastes management topic; managing activities in the wastes industry; managing facilities within the wastes industry; managing financial resources in the wastes industry; managing human resources in the wastes industry; managing legal issues in the wastes industry; managing the handling and disposal of wastes; managing within environmental legislation.

Not much previous knowledge needed, u need to be willing to study theses areas and have a general interest. Teachers are great always there to help and u get a lot well double the amount u initially want which is great!!...more
